So, for your own plans, if you’re coming from Japan, China, or Taiwan, you may be able to use Gimpo and enjoy much faster access to the city.
For most other international routes, Incheon is the one — often your only option.

1) By Public Transport
Subway: The AREX line connects Gimpo to central Seoul in about 20–30 minutes, for around ₩1,750 (roughly $1.30). It's the cheapest and most reliable way in, with a direct link to Seoul Station.
Airport bus: Direct to major Seoul districts in roughly 40–60 minutes, around ₩8,000 ($5.07–$6.52).
Taxi: About ₩20,000–40,000 ($14.49–$28.99) to central Seoul, 25–35 minutes (expect a 20–40% surcharge late at night).
⚠️ During peak hours, road traffic can be unpredictable — the subway gives you the most dependable journey time.
2) By Rental Car
LOTTE rent-a-car's pickup point is in the Domestic Terminal, 1F, near Gate 6. Landing at the International Terminal? Exit Gate 1 and hop on the free courtesy shuttle (it runs about every 10 minutes) over to the Domestic Terminal, where the rental area is.

1) By Public Transport
AREX Express: Seoul Station in 43 minutes for a flat fare of around ₩13,000 (roughly $9), with a reserved seat. The fastest option, with a reserved seat.
AREX All-Stop: Stops at major stations en route — about 60 minutes, up to ₩5,350 ($3.88) depending on where you get off. Same train line, a fraction of the price.
Limousine bus: Direct to major hotels and districts in about 60–90 minutes, roughly ₩17,000–18,000 ($12.32–$13.04). Great if your hotel is far from Seoul Station and you'd rather not transfer.
Taxi: Around 60–90 minutes and ₩60,000–90,000 ($43.48–$65.22) for a regular taxi to central Seoul. The fixed-rate International Taxi runs about ₩75,000 ($54.35) including tolls. Heads up: late-night surcharges climb as high as 40% between 23:00 and 02:00.
2) By Rental Car
